The Columbus Museum has key qualities that make a difference when considering a place for your civic, corporate, cultural, educational or social event. Our nationally recognized architectural design and numerous special exhibitions provide the perfect setting for an unforgettable event.

The Columbus Museum is available for rental for special events by individuals, non-profit organizations and corporations. As long as space is available, the Museum can be rented any day of the week during the hours of 6:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Our facilities can be arranged to host a variety of events, including:

• corporate business meetings   • plays
• wedding receptions   • concerts
• anniversary parties   • recitals
• private social events   • rehearsal dinners
• seminars   • birthday parties

So whether you are having a small-group seminar or a grand gala and dinner, the elegance of the Columbus Museum is sure to impress your guests.

Rental Hours
Daytime is defined as 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday - Saturday and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.
Evening is defined as all other times. Rental fee starts when actual event starts.

Security Deposits
A security deposit is due at signing of contract to secure event date. Chairs and tables included.
$250 Refundable Security Deposit
$400 Refundable Security Deposit if red-based food or drink are on menu.

Turner Galleria

Capacity: 400-500 for a buffet or cocktail reception
                  175-200 for a seated dinner

The Turner Galleria, with its graceful colonnade, ascends through all three levels of the Museum and provides direct access to all galleries. This spacious area with marble flooring is the largest area for receptions, formal dinners, concerts and luncheons. The Turner Galleria offers great access to the Wright Community Room and the Patrick Theatre. It is also convenient to the catering kitchen.

Daytime: $300/hour

Two-hour minimum clean up at $125/hour.

Evening: $600/hour

Two-hour minimum clean up at $125/hour.
Three-hour minimum rental time required.
Shorter, Leebern and Hardaway Galleries open during evening Galleria events as long as an exhibition is available.

 


Wright Community Room

Capacity: 150 Seated Auditorium Style
                  150 Standing Reception
                  100 Seated at Round Tables

The Wright Community Room offers an excellent site for meetings, lectures, and small receptions or luncheons. Conveniently located next to the catering kitchen, it is equipped with all the necessary appliances and often serves as an overflow room for the Turner Galleria.

Daytime: $200/hour, no clean up fee

Evening: $300/hour, no clean up fee
                 Two-hour minimum rental time required for evening rentals.

 


Patrick Theatre

Patrick Theatre

Capacity: 298 seats

This auditorium is perfect for lectures, films, performances, corporate programs and other special events. Equipped with modern lighting, and state-of-the-art audio/visual and computer projection equipment, this is one of the finest theatre facilities in the area. Often programs in the Patrick Theatre are combined with special events in the Turner Galleria or the Wright Community Room.

Daytime: $200/hour, no clean up fee

Evening: $300/hour, no clean up fee
                 Two-hour minimum rental time required for evening rentals.

 


Fountain Terrace and Rose Garden

Capacity: 400-500 for a buffet or cocktail reception
                  175-200 for a seated dinner

The Fountain Terrace and Rose Garden area provides the perfect setting for any outdoor event. Events can be centered around the fountain or in the beautiful rose garden area. This site is perfect for spring and fall events. Events can be moved inside to the Turner Galleria in case of inclement weather.

Daytime: $300/hour
                 Two-hour minimum clean up at $125/hour.

Evening: $600/hour
                 Two-hour minimum clean up at $125/hour.
                 Three-hour minimum rental time required.
